The following stories deserve honorable mention. They were nominated in very over-crowded categories and unfortunately did not survive the cuts that we were forced to make. These stories deserve notice just by having been nominated. There are an awful lot of good nfic stories out there, but these all stood out from the crowd.

We also had a lot of 1999 stories nominated and even had a few gfic stories nominated. You won't see those listed here, but keep your eyes open for the 2000 Kerths and nKerths.
